Hi all, it’s Hammy! Boy, was my first day in the Big Apple exciting. That’s what we call New York, the Big Apple. We call it the Big Apple cause back in the 1920s and 1930s people in the music and horse racing said it was the place to be.
Mom and I lived in a part of town called Hell’s Kitchen. It’s a neighborhood on the West Side of Manhattan in midtown. It’s known for famous people called actors and creative people called artists. Actors are the people you see on Netflix and artists do anything creative.
I was learning about all kinds of new things!! We lived in a big tall building called a high-rise and there were lots of dogs and people to meet! And lots of cool things to smell.
I didn’t know how to walk on a leash and I didn’t have all my shots yet, so mom carried me around the big city. That was fine for me, I was up high up and could see everything.

We lived next to a lot, and I mean a lot of water. I have never seen so much water. It is called the Hudson River. We walked on something called the Hudson River Greenway. #HRG. There is so much to see. Try it sometime.
After a long walk I needed a nap. I love a good nap. Mom, Grammy and I sat outside at a place called PD O’Hurleys and I fell asleep. It was a perfect day and I knew I had found the perfect humans.

Love, Hams
