Hi, it’s Hammy! I love Christmas!
So do my human, you know, like my Momma and my Grammy. We are all just totally crazy about Christmas. It’s a time of year when people are so much nicer. You can feel it in the air, the extra amounts of kindness. It must be all the cookies and chocolate they are eating. Humans are kinder when they get enough sweets.
There’s is lots of kissing. We kiss hello, goodbye and Merry Christmas! I like kisses. One thing I like about the Holidays is there are a lot of wonderful smells. Like the smell of pine… It comes from all the trees, wreaths and candles. Generally, I am not allowed to bring even leaves into the house.
But at Christmas, we bring trees into the house and it is allowed. You just can’t pee-pee on them. More great smells I love are roasts baking in the oven. Yum, like roast beef or fillet and at Christmas time
I get some. Yum, yum, yum.
But most importantly, Christmas is its own kind of love. It fills your heart, all you have to do is let it in.
This is me on my first Christmas; it was before Brody was born. My heart was full of Christmas and the love of my humans.
This is me after my fresh Christmas hair cut. It’s generally good to be clean for Christmas. Santa doesn’t like it when you smell.
This is me in my Christmas fleece. Too bad it doesn’t fit anymore. At Christmas it’s cold so we need the fleece and we need snuggle more to keep warm. I love to snuggle!
