Meet the 12 Dogs of Christmas Furiends

The holiday season is officially over (unfortunately) and it’s 7me for our humans to get back to work. Even though we may have to wait another 365 days un7l next Christmas, we would love to give you all a closer look at a special 7 days from this holiday season- The 12 Dogs of Christmas!

Ourselves and 11 other of our furiends came together this previous holiday season to give back to our fellow community and give out pawmazing giveaway prizes!

Before looking into these amazing giOs, let us take a closer look at all the dogs who made this en7re event happen, the fur behind the 12 Dogs of Christmas! 

Mikey (@tinyspikeymikey) is a Maltese pup from California who loves to entertain people and host par7es with his DJ performance or guitar. His favorite things to do in his free 7me is open mail, play with toys, and eat tons of treats! 

Zoe Puppy (@queen.beechon) is a sweet and sassy almost 3-year-old Bichon Frise living with her parents in the Netherlands.  She loves to model and photograph, play with her toys, and cuddle!

Leo, Olivia, and Jolie (@leo.olivia.jolie) are 3 Maltese pups from New Jersey. Leo is the toy collector, Olivia is the diva, and Jolie is the paper stealer. Leo loves to play with his toys, Olivia loves dressing up and taking pictures, and Jolie loves being crazy!

Stripe (@stripehairless) is a 2-year-old Chinese crested mix who lives between Canada and the US. He is named after the Gremlins because of his white mohawk. He loves squeaking his bacon scented ball, following whoever is in the kitchen, and play fighting with his siblings!

Emi and JoJo (@emi.and.jojo) are a 5 and almost 2-year-old California girl duo! Emi is a Shih Tzu mix who loves food and humans only. She is Canadian but a true California girl who hates the cold. JoJo is an Aussiedoodle who loves to chase balls and harass her grumpy sister!

Prince Louis CXIII aka Prince (@prince_louis_113^th) is a 3 year-old Maltese from Toronto, Canada. Prince is a fashion icon with dynamic style, seen rocking a wardrobe fitting for a Prince, reflecting his cool and confident personality. He also loves to model and coordinate outfits. As an Instagram Pup Influencer and Brand Ambassador representing several brands around the globe, Prince loves to model and wear awesome sunglasses while coordinating his outfits with one of his many cars and his girlfriend Molly.

Santiago (@coton.santiago) is a 4-year-old Coton de Tulear born in Texas who moved to Ohio from northern Virginia. He has done a lot of traveling, including coast to coast, and even celebrating his first birthday in France. A fun fact is Santiago is extremely food motivated!

Maggie, Cody, and Brady (@littlemaggieandbros) are “insta famous” pups from Canada. They love to dress up and dress all their friends up too. They enjoy all the simple things in life, like snow, tree branches, and socks. They love to travel with their humans, play chase and wrestle!

Olaf (@olafthenewf) is an almost almost 3-year-old Newfoundland (also called a Newfie). He lives in Chicago with his mom and loves to play with friends every chance he gets. Even though he’s very big, he is also very gentle. He loves to make people smile and believes that kindness is the most important thing in the world!

Cruz and the Gang (@cruzthefrenchie) are a pack of 7 dogs from New York who are dog models and actors for pet products. Some of them have been in movies, Avon covers, print ads,  and regional TV commercials. They love going out because they get lots of pets and kisses and love going on day excursions around the city!

Pumpkin (@pumpkin_in_jc) is the 1-year-old little sister of us, Hammy and Brody! She lives with her mom in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is a Teddy Bear, meaning she is a mix of a Bichon and a Shih Tzu. One of her nicknames is Plumpalina because she loves to snack as well as loves to give lots of love!

And then there is us! Hammy and Brody (@hammyandbrody)! We are both 5 years old living in Huntington, New York with our parents. Hammy is a Maltipoo and Brody is a Maltese. Hammy loves to play fetch, get belly rubs, and head scratches and a big fan of warm chicken. Brody loves socks and anything paper. A fun fact about Hammy is that his real name is Aaron, after the famous Green Bay Packer, but after he was born, Hammy just suited him better. Hammy also has real wolf genes! A fun fact about Brody is he loves to herd the family. He will bite you gently on the ankles to make you go where he wants you to go!

With this giveaway event, all the pups involved had a fun 7me being able to represent their choice of favorite Christmas movie, Christmas ac7vity, or Christmas tradi7ons, and anything else that really represents the holiday season!

We did super cute co-collabs on our Instagram pages with adorable graphics made by our graphic designer Michele (@artbymichele) that presented each of the dog’s holiday choices! We had Mikey kick off our giveaway as Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas, followed by Emi and JoJo in day two as How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Day three was Cruz and the Gang presen7ng one of the most infamous Christmas tradi7ons of visi7ng tree farms! Then to con7nue on from that, we have Stripe as the Christmas trees represented at home! What is befer known during the holiday season than decora7ng and ligh7ng up your tree with adorable ornaments and colored lights? Maggie, Cody, and Brady then takes us to what we wish for every year- a white and royal Christmas! For the next, we have Prince Louis CXIII as the Nutcracker! Leo, Olivia, and Jolie then took on the next day as Blue Christmas followed by Olaf as Santa’s most important helpers, reindeer! Pumpkin comes in aOer represen7ng the cutest of Christmas bears! Zoe then represents the next day as one of our favorite holiday tradi7ons which is building gingerbread houses and ea7ng yummy candy canes! San7ago finishes off represen7ng one thing that reminds us of all of the Christmas season, SNOW!

The graphics for this entire event were adorably brought to life and allowed us (Hammy and Brody) to be involved in these graphics even though we don’t all live in the same place which was so fun and so cute!

Along with the graphics, we were also able to put together adorable reels for Instagram for the event that was able to involve all of us pups! We had reels that represented an ugly sweater party (even though we would say we all looked super cute) and then one of all of us in our PJ’s!

This entire event was one that was able to give back to the community while also bringing the community closer, and nothing feels more in spirit for the holiday season than that!
