Merry Christmas everyone! At Christmas time Brody and I know how lucky we are to have a happy home, lots of toys to play with and lots of goodies to eat. It’s a time to be thankful. We know that some of our friends are not as fortunate and we decided to do a few things to help out.
Here is what we did!
This year we supported #operationsantapaws by collecting toys and blankets for shelter dogs and cats for the holidays. We packed everything up and shipped it out to California. Operation Santa Paws was founded in 2001 by Justin Rudd. For almost 20 years, they have been bringing toys and treats to shelter animals at Christmas time so they have less stressed and a better chance of being adopted.
Here is Brody getting ready to ship everything out.
Another charity we choose to help this year is Earth, Love, Peace Corporation. This is a group of hardworking dog people who collect and sell used doggy items to benefit the pups of Colombia in South America. In Colombia, there are lots of street pups that need medical care and adoption. These pups also need food and water and this group is here to be sure they get it. Thankfully, this is something Brody and I never have to worry about.
So, we got some things together and plan to give more for Christmas. Here’s a photo of Brody making the gift. In the photo are Tomasa and her mom Lily. @TomasaPinzonPettei. Tomasa and her mom are from Colombia.
Tomasa has a big boy brother, his name is Puppy Joseph. He is also from Colombia, They both have a much better life now. This is them.

Brody and I are happy to say this is our second year donating. There are so many good causes and folks out there trying to help the pups that are less fortunate then us. We are lucky boys.
